This dire situation is a direct result of the Israeli occupation preventing the entry of any milk shipments for nearly four months.

Al Jazeera Net has documented several cases of malnutrition at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah and Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis. Dr. Ahmed Al-Farra stated that milk formulated for different stages of infant development is now completely missing.

This poses a real and immediate danger that could claim the lives of thousands of children, unless specialized international organizations and bodies intervene to pressure Israel to open the crossings and allow milk to enter rapidly, within a matter of hours.
