Al-Quds Hospital in the northern part of the Gaza Strip has come under shelling, the Al-Hadath television channel said on Sunday.
According to the TV channel, several rounds were fired at the hospital. According to preliminary information, a building located behind the hospital compound was hit.
Palestine’s interior ministry confirmed on its Telegram channel that “Israeli forces delivered a strike on an area near Al-Quds Hospital.”
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said earlier that the Israeli authorities had issued another order to evacuate people from the hospital.
A spokesman for the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said on Monday that the hospital cannot be evacuated because it houses around 12,000 displaced persons and more than 400 patients.

Israel has targeted several Palestinian hospitals, including Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital on October 17.
Nearly 500 Palestinians were killed and hundreds more injured in the hospital massacre, considered the worst single act of violence carried out by Israel in Gaza in many years.
Israel has, thus far, killed over 8,000 Palestinians in Gaza, and wounded more than 20,000.

Palestinian Ministry of Health reports and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.
On Friday night, Israel intensified airstrikes and expanded its ground operations in Gaza, while knocking out all communications for Palestinians in the besieged Strip.
Gaza has been under a tight Israeli military siege since 2007, following a democratic election in occupied Palestine, the results of which were rejected by Tel Aviv and Washington.
Palestinian Resistance has engaged with the Israeli military in fierce clashes at the Gaza border. Meanwhile, Palestinian fighters managed to penetrate the fence between Gaza and Israel.
A massive Israeli military occupation forces have reportedly advanced but for only a few hundred meters from the empty northwestern corner of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Palestinian Resistance, however, has engaged with it in fierce clashes using anti-artillery shells.
Meanwhile, Palestinian fighters opened fire at Israeli forces still stationed on the Israeli side of the fence from three different areas in northern Gaza. They are Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, and Atatra.
AL-QASSAM: The Al-Qassam Brigades said that they bombed the Israeli vehicles penetrating northwest Gaza with mortar shells.
Perhaps, the most important development, however, is that Palestinian fighters managed to penetrate the fence between Gaza and Israel and re-emerge in two areas behind the Israeli military lines. They are Erez and Netiv HaAsara.
Al-Qassam said in a statement that it has also destroyed two Israeli military vehicles in southern Gaza in earlier clashes.
AL-QASSAM: We are confronting Israeli forces that penetrated northwest of Beit Lahia.
These are excerpts from the statements issued by the Al-Qassam Brigades in the last two hours regarding the ongoing developments at the Gaza border, as communicated by the group through the Resistance News Network Telegram channel.
“Al-Qassam Brigades bombarded the Zionist “Erez” site with mortar shells and rockets to cut off the aid to the burning vehicles that were targeted in the vicinity of the site.
“Fighters of the Qassam Brigades confirm that a number of targeted vehicles, west of the “Erez” site, caught fire and a number of soldiers inside were eliminated.”
On Saturday, South African activists, including the South African Jews for a Free Palestine (SAJFP), mobilized to voice their dissent against Israel’s war and complete siege of the Gaza Strip.
Addressing the crowd at the Palestinian Solidarity Alliance SA at the Zoo Lake in Johannesburg, Rina King, spokesperson for the SAJFP, emphasized the group’s refusal to have their faith associated with supporting apartheid, ethnic cleansing, and genocide.
The SAJFP joins many South Africans and the international community in protesting against Israeli apartheid practices.
According to King, the United States and the United Kingdom support and facilitate the actions of the Israeli government.
“These countries have supported Israel’s apartheid policies financially, militarily, and diplomatically, just as they supported apartheid in South Africa,” she explained.
King further added that “the SAJFP calls for an immediate ceasefire”.
“We Demand that the South African government sever diplomatic relations with Israel, just as many governments did with apartheid-era South Africa, King said, adding:
“We support the South African government’s call for the International Criminal Court (ICC) to investigate war crimes and genocide in Palestine.”
The group also demanded that the South African “government goes further and uses its influence in multilateral bodies and networks, such as the African Union and BRICS, to encourage other governments to adopt a similar approach towards the ICC,” according to King.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. (Photo: Mohammad Hossein Taaghi, via Wikimedia Commons)
Tehran will ignore US warnings not to intervene in the Hamas-Israel conflict, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has said, blasting the West over its reluctance to help end the hostilities.
In an interview with Al-Jazeera on Saturday, Raisi said that Washington “is asking us not to move while providing broad support to the Zionist entity… This is an invalid demand.”
The Iranian president also claimed that Israel’s expanded ground operations in Gaza were a failure, describing it as “the second victory (for Palestinians) following (the launch of) the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation,” referring to the surprise attack carried out by the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas on October 7.
Hezbollah media released a video, with a surah (passage) from the Quran:
“When the first of the two warnings would come to pass, We would send against you some of Our servants of great might, who would ravage your homes. This would be a warning fulfilled.” — al-Isra 5 pic.twitter.com/ngPQpSmzpS
Raisi also said that the United States had sent messages to the ‘Axis of Resistance’ – referring to an informal alliance of anti-Western and anti-Israel forces in the Middle East – and “received a practical and public answer on the ground.”
Raisi went on to accuse the US and some unnamed European countries of “obstructing the ceasefire in Gaza,” calling such policies “a crime.”
He added that “the United States’ calculations in the region are completely wrong, and said it will not achieve its goals with a new Middle East,” stressing that Tehran’s support for the Palestinians “is not subject to compromise.”
GAZA HEALTH MINISTRY: the number of Palestinians killed as a result of the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza exceeded 8,005, including 3,342 children, 2,062 women, and 460 elderly people in addition to nearly 20,000 wounded.
US President Joe Biden pledged unconditional support for Israel while warning Iran to be “careful.” At the same time, he stopped short of backing a cessation of hostilities, with several US media outlets reporting that the State Department had distributed a memo to its diplomats advising them to avoid calling for “de-escalation” or a “ceasefire” in Gaza.
Publicly, Biden has said that ceasefire talks cannot begin until Hamas releases more than 200 hostages. Meanwhile, on Monday, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell called for a “humanitarian pause” in the conflict, saying he believed there was consensus among the bloc’s members on the matter.
Raisi’s comments come after Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian warned the US that “new fronts will be opened up” against Washington if it does not change its policies in the Middle East, including its unequivocal support for Israel.

A young Palestinian man was killed and 11 others were wounded on Saturday night during an Israeli military raid in the town of Beit Rima, northwest of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
The Yasser Arafat Hospital in the nearby town of Salfit confirmed the death of 30-year-old Nasser Abdel Latif Barghouti from Beit Rima, who succumbed to the severe wounds he sustained by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire.

In a statement posted on X, the humanitarian organization said that they received “serious threats from the occupation authorities to immediately evacuate Al-Quds Hospital in the Gaza Strip, as it is going to be bombarded.”
“Since this morning, there has been raids 50 meters away from the hospital,” the post added.

Leader of the Palestinian movement Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Yahya Sinwar, ordered the preparation of lists of all Palestinians in Israeli prisons, the Al Mayadeen TV channel reported.
“The authorities that deal with our prisoners must provide lists of all male and female prisoners held by the occupying forces without exception,” Sinwar said, as quoted by the TV channel.
He made it clear that Hamas must be “in a state of constant readiness in case of unexpected developments on the next stage.”
Earlier, spokesperson for Hamas’s military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida said that the group agreed to conclude a deal to exchange all Palestinians in Israeli prisons for all prisoners and hostages captured by Hamas fighters.
He cited data according to which between 200 and 250 people are in the hands of Hamas. Abu Obeida did not rule out that 50 of them could have been killed by the Israeli bombing of Gaza.
For his turn, the leader of Islamic Jihad, Ziyad al-Nakhalah, said that the military wing of this group, Al-Quds Brigades, is holding 30 Israelis, most of them soldiers. According to him, Israeli troops “bombed the places where prisoners were kept.”
Earlier, Israel Defense Forces Spokesman Daniel Hagari said that the army currently has verified information about 229 prisoners held by Palestinian fighters in the Gaza Strip.

A very large crowd of pro-Palestinian demonstrators took to the streets of central London to call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Videos of the event have gone viral on social media.

According to its Facebook page, the official route of the demonstration began at Victoria Embankment and ended at Parliament Square.
Over 100,000 protesters have gathered in the capital and more across the country, denouncing Israel’s attack on Gaza and urging an immediate ceasefire, the BBC reports.

According to the outlet, over 1,000 Metropolitan Police officers have been deployed across the capital amid the mass demonstrations.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak called for the release of prisoners and hostages taken by Hamas during the October 7 attack on Israel and for humanitarian aid to be brought into Gaza.
He added, however, that “for all of that to happen, there has to be a safer environment, which of course necessitates specific pauses as distinct from a ceasefire.”
Like Washington, Paris and Berlin, London has supported the Israeli position on Gaza, providing aid, military and intelligence support to Israel as it has unleashed one of its most devastating wars on the besieged Gaza Strip on record.
Israel has, thus far, killed 7,703 Palestinians in Gaza, including 3,195 children, and wounded over 19,743 more.

‘If the Gaza Strip is destroyed and 2 million residents are expelled, it will create a catastrophe for many more decades, if not centuries.” – Lavrov.
A ceasefire and humanitarian programs are needed in Gaza to save the population, which has been blockaded without water, electricity, and food, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with the Belarusian news agency BELTA on Saturday.
According to the Russian official, “if the Gaza Strip is destroyed and 2 million residents are expelled, it will create a catastrophe for many more decades, if not centuries.”
During the interview, Lavrov cited UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who said that “the attacks by Hamas did not happen in a vacuum” and recalled the need for a two-state solution.
The minister noted that he has repeatedly told his Israeli counterparts that the unstable situation in the region will not calm down “without the creation of a Palestinian state through negotiations,” and that there will always be a threat to Tel Aviv from the Occupied Palestinian territories.
Given the current situation in Gaza, Lavrov said, direct talks between Palestine and Israel about a two-state solution are hardly possible. However, Moscow is “sending a signal” to Tel Aviv that a peaceful way out must be found instead of “completing the announced scorched-earth strategy in Gaza,” he added.
The foreign minister also noted that the escalation of the Gaza conflict “has sent a signal to the West” that it should think “not only about Ukraine, where they want to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia on the battlefield,” but also about how to ensure security interests in general.
On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin recalled Moscow’s position on the Gaza conflict – that two independent sovereign states should be created based on the decisions of the UN Security Council – but noted that the main point now is to stop the bloodshed and violence.
On the same day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the nation and said that “we are raining down hellfire on Hamas” promising a “ground incursion” into Gaza.
On Friday, Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari said that in addition to the attacks of the past few days, ground forces were “expanding” their activities.
A few hours later, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry stated on the social media platform X that it was calling on the entire world “to intervene immediately to stop this war.”
Israel has, thus far, killed 7,703 Palestinians in Gaza, including 3,195 children, and wounded over 19,743 more.

A recent New York Times made many claims about the ‘mass rape’ of Israeli women on October 7. But two leading Palestinian media organizations, The Palestine Chronicle and Friends of Palestine Network, conducted a joint investigation, the outcome of which resulted in the ‘The Black Dress’, a groundbreaking 18-minute documentary looking into allegations and the possible falsification of evidence.
