Israel has, thus far, killed 7,326 Palestinians in Gaza, including nearly 3,000 children and over 1,700 women, and wounded over 19,000 more. 

Palestinian Ministry of Health reports and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

Israel says that 1,400 of its citizens were killed in Hamas-led attacks on October 7. Many of those killed are soldiers and officers in the Israeli occupation army. 

Gaza has been under a tight Israeli military siege since 2007, following a democratic election in occupied Palestine, the results of which were rejected by Tel Aviv and Washington.

AL-MAYADEEN: Israel carried out massacres in the Nuseirat refugee camp, killing the Aslan and Wahbi families. Moreover, Israel air strikes killed tens of Palestinian civilians in the Shati refugee camp near Gaza City.

PALESTINE CHRONICLE: Internet and telephone services are still cut off throughout Gaza. Medical workers are not able to reach casualties in various parts of the Strip.

TASS: Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen blasted the UN General Assembly resolution that calls for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and said Israel is determined to wipe out the radical Palestinian group Hamas. “We reject outright the UN General Assembly despicable call for a ceasefire. Israel intends to eliminate Hamas,” the minister said in a statement.

AL-MAYDEEN (Citing Palestinian media): More than 100 Palestinians civilians killed in an Israeli strike targeting displaced Palestinians refugees in the Shati refugee camp.

AMNESTY: Amnesty International says that civilians in Gaza are at an unprecedented risk, and that Israel is cutting off communications and intensifying shelling and attacks. Israel should stop its indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks that have killed and injured thousands of civilians, AI said.

ABC NEWS (Citing US Officials): The United States is ‘pressuring’ Israel to adopt a narrower scope of attack and adopt a step-by-step approach.

AL-MAYADEEN: American forces attacked in the Al-Tanf border triangle, between Iraq, Syria and Jordan with two drones.

AL-MAYADEEN: Senior Hamas official Ali Baraka said that the Israeli military incursion has failed on three different fronts. The invading forces have fallen into traps created by the Resistance and they have been left carrying their dead and wounded.

We cannot estimate their losses but more information will be released in the morning.

AL-MAYADEEN: US military forces in Syria are currently under attack. 

AL-MAYADEEN: Mass protests throughout the world as Israel tries to penetrate Gaza by land.

AL-MAYADEEN: The Israeli escalation happened as a truce agreement was about to be signed, which included the release by the Israelis and Palestinian fighters of all women and children. 

  • The truce was also supposed to include the release of all non-combatant foreigners currently held by the Resistance.

AL-MAYADEEN (citing Palestinian Resistance sources): The Israeli military is unable to establish a stronghold in the Beit Hanoun and Bureij areas. Fierce battles are underway.

AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL: Civilians in Gaza are at unprecedented risk amid the communications cuts and the expansion of Israeli ground attacks.

AL-QUDS BRIGADES: Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that its fighters are involved in the fierce battles and that they are confronting enemy forces trying to advance towards the Gaza Strip.

WHITE HOUSE NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL SPOKESMAN JOHN KIRBY: We shared with Israel our view of what urban warfare looks like.

NBC NEWS CREWS IN GAZA: We are living in a difficult and dangerous situation, and we are being subjected to intense (Israeli) bombardment with artillery shells and from the air.

AL-JAZEERA: The Al Jazeera correspondent said that Israeli fighters launched raids on the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital and the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza, and that Israeli bombing targeted the Bureij camp in central Gaza Strip.

AL-QASSAM BRIGADES: Al-Qassam Brigades confront a ground Israeli incursion into Beit Hanoun (in the northern Gaza Strip) and east of Bureij (in central Gaza), and violent clashes are taking place on the ground.

RESISTANCE NEWS NETWORK: “Intense armed clashes have broken out on the eastern front of the north and central Gaza Strip, as resistance fighters repel limited ground incursions by Zionist forces.”

UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY: The United Nations General Assembly has just adopted an Arab draft resolution calling for an immediate humanitarian truce to cease hostilities in the Gaza Strip.

ABC: A U.S. official told ABC that the Israelis are currently conducting a limited incursion into the Gaza Strip and have agreed to enter humanitarian support in conjunction with the operation.

ISRAELI MILITARY: An Israeli military spokesman told ABC News that the expanded operations currently underway in Gaza are not the “official ground invasion” of the territory.

AL-JAZEERA: Al Jazeera correspondent said that Israeli gunboats were bombing sites in Gaza, and that warplanes were launching a series of raids on the central Gaza Strip.

JORDAN: Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said Israel had just started a ground war on Gaza and the result would be a humanitarian catastrophe, impact of which will last for years to come.
