UNITED NATIONS: UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said Saturday he was “horrified” by the Israeli army’s strike on an ambulance convoy in Gaza on Friday, stressing that the conflict between Israel and Hamas “must stop.”

AL-JAZEERA:

Israeli occupation forces stormed at dawn on Saturday the Balata camp east of Nablus, and the town of Jaba, south of Jenin in the West Bank.

Seven people were killed in Israeli raids targeting two houses in Nuseirat refugee camp and the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.

AXIOS: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told Israel that agreeing to a humanitarian truce in Gaza would help Washington weather the pressure. Israeli commanders told Blinken that the truce would not happen unless the hostages were released.

CNN (Citing a Senior US Official):  The Biden administration expects Israel to scale back its air attacks on Gaza and focus on the ground campaign.

REUTERS (Citing a Senior US Official): No agreement has yet been reached on a humanitarian truce in Gaza. Any effort to remove some 200 hostages from Gaza would require a major cessation of hostilities.

CPJ (Committee to Protect Journalists): Israel’s war on Gaza is the deadliest journalist in more than 30 years. (It is estimated that 46 journalists have been killed since the start of the war.)
