A spokesperson for the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza pleaded with Egypt to open the Rafah crossing to allow urgent medical supplies and a safe exit for thousands of wounded Palestinians.

The appeal was made against a backdrop of continued Israeli massacres that have reached hundreds of families across the Gaza Strip. The latest such massacres took place in Jabaliya, along with mass killings in Nuseirat and Shati refugee camps. 

Israeli forces continued their attempts to penetrate Gaza from various directions to no avail.
